Once we have a site plan, we assist you in selecting materials. We bring out physical paver samples and color guides so you can see how different stone textures and border accents look against your home's siding. We help you pick durable materials that fit your home's architecture and your practical needs.
The real structural strength of a patio or wall sits underground. We excavate down to solid subsoil, lay heavy woven geotextile fabric to prevent dirt from mixing into the base, and dump crushed stone base aggregate in controlled lifts. We run heavy vibrating plate compactors over every layer to build a rock-solid foundation that will not settle.
Our crew sets every block and paver with care, cutting edge pieces with diamond-blade saws for tight, precise joints. Once the stones are laid and set, we sweep commercial-grade polymeric sand into the joints and vibrate it down into place. The sand activates to seal out weeds and ants while locking the individual stones together. We finish by washing down the surface and cleaning up the workspace completely.
